01 / Overview

A company selling AI to law firms and fund managers has to look trustworthy before it looks clever.

COSX does the back-office work of regulated firms: casework, diligence, reporting and marketing, run by agents in a workspace built for confidential data. The brand has to say that plainly to a sole practitioner and to a fund alike, and show that every output can be checked against the document it came from.

02 / Brand

The mark

A single-stroke mark. It sits on a yellow tile for the app icon and social avatars; everywhere else the wordmark is set in ink on paper, or in linen on ink.

Paper, ink and one yellow

Warm white and linen are the page, ink is every letter, and yellow is the only thing that is neither. It is pale as a ground, warmer as a mark, and never sets a letter on paper.

The marker

The signature is a highlighter stroke behind the phrase that carries the finding, one per headline. On ink there is no band: the finding itself is set in yellow.

One family

Geist for everything. Headlines are regular weight and work by scale, labels are small and grey, and figures are tabular. Chinese is set in Noto Sans SC at the same weights.

Research graphics

COSX publishes research, so the charts are part of the brand. Ink is the base and yellow is the finding: waffles, columns and treemaps with rounded blocks, each with a note saying where the data came from. The running example is the UK Immigration Technology Landscape: 117 organisations, verified September 2026.

03 / Website

cosx.co explains what an AI back office does for a regulated firm and how an engagement starts. It is written for small and mid-sized firms, from sole practitioners upwards.

The home page runs in order: the problem (every engagement arrives as a pile), who it serves, what the work produces, what changes, how an engagement runs, security and compliance, and eight plain answers. Every page ends at one action: book a consultation.

The photographs are of the work itself: files, papers and desks in afternoon light, with one line marked in yellow.
